Advocate
Fitness, a fitness and wellness consulting and management
service line of Advocate Health Care (Chicago), is accepting
applications for internships. Advocate
Fitness has fifteen on-site corporate fitness centers located
throughout the Chicago
land area and works with hundreds of wellness clients.
Our internship programs are available to
students studying health/fitness, exercise science/physiology,
wellness, recreation, health administration, marketing and other
related fields. We
accept interns throughout the year for a 14-week period (this can be
tailored to meet the students needs).
At all sites the interns are exposed to all
aspects of a comprehensive wellness program (i.e. fitness testing,
membership education, project management, etc).

classes, planning programs, organizing leagues and tournaments,

internships in an 80,000 sq. foot world-class fitness
facility. The Lands' End Wellness Program focuses on health
education, fitness and recreation. As an intern,
participation in all aspects of this comprehensive wellness program is

Promotion and Fitness Program. Students
will be fully involved in all aspects of our programs and
facilities. We have four fitness centers in the Racine area
with

largest consisting of over 100,000 square feet of indoor area located

acre park. The comprehensive approach to
well-being at SC Johnson includes fitness, health promotion, work life,
child
care, recreation, aquatics, and mind-body activities for employees,

families, and retirees. The four fitness

equipment. Fitness and Health Promotion interns are
directly involved with the program delivery, supervision, and
management of the

Foundation (MHIF). The internship program within the
Education Services Division of the Minneapolis Heart Institute
Foundation (MHIF) is designed to give the student a professional
experience in his/her major area. This internship will be directed in
cooperation with the college or university internship coordinator.
Internship opportunities are full-time and are available during the
winter/spring (January-May), summer (May-August) and fall
(September-December). Winter/spring and fall internships are typically
