in Woodstock, Georgia (30 minutes north of Atlanta), offers internships
in their sports programs. for Position: Intern for Refugee Youth
Basketball. This is an opportunity for students to receive an
introduction to all aspects of developing and leading a sports
program to include promotion, program planning and
management. Interns will enhance their skills by assisting in
coordination of program events, training coaches and other support
personnel and coordination of available community resources. Program
schedule is August to November 2009 with a stipend for living expenses
of $1000 per month provided.

community relations department. Advocate
Health Centers are located throughout the Chicago-land area and

suburbs with over 150 physicians practicing at 16 locations. Interns will support the
Community Relations
department by planning, coordinating, implementing and delivering
health
education programs and events for the community.
Advocate
Health Centers offers fall, spring, and summer internships to
undergraduate 4th
year students pursuing a community health, public health or related
degree. Internships
are available for 10
weeks, however can be tailored for school programs.
